Are you looking for a new home? We’re looking for someone who will be able to help out our design team, contribute to illustration needs and is interested in learning new things. We want a teammate; someone we can work with and who can work with us, who inspires and challenges us to do things better, and who wants to learn and grow with the rest of our super awesome team… oh yeah, and laughs at our jokes.

Your core responsibilities:

  • Work within a team setting to help produce, from to start to finish, rich interactive designs, including: user interfaces, websites, games and animation / motion graphics.
  • Perform hands-on production and execution of design solutions.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with members of management and production staff
  • Willingness to wear many hats, and take on whatever tasks the team needs from you at that particular moment.
  • Ability to brainstorm without ego attachment to any particular idea
  • Collaborative brainstorming and conceptual development of different ideas, need to be willing to welcome ideas from any source, and be prepared to build on them to make the work of the team successful

Your qualifications:

  • You will need to provide a portfolio showing strong creative skills that illustrates your ability to generate solid design ideas and thorough understanding of good design process.
  • Experience and interest in software interaction design, solid capabilities in problem solving and visual design
  • Need to be a talented individual with a willingness/potential to grow
  • BA, AA, AAS degree or coursework in graphic/web design, illustration, 2D animation (or equivalent) a huge plus.
  • Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite including: Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and InDesign. Intermediate experience with Adobe Flash, Maya, or Corel Painter will give you a leg up.
  • Working knowledge of current web technologies including: ActionScript, HTML, CSS & XML are a bonus.
  • Very strong creative concept, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong design aesthetic and well developed knowledge of interactive design issues.

You must:

  • Know when to work hard and when to have fun.
  • Understand and appreciate the value of collaboration.
  • Have a team player attitude yet be able to work independently
  • Be flexible and able to roll up sleeves at a moments notice
  • Find inspiration and motivation when there isn’t a looming deadline.
  • Have a sense of humor.
