Major Job Responsibilities:
The project is yours…  from start to finish.  Work with your project team to concept, help them to set up the files, develop, test your own code, and then bug fix until it’s live.  Don’t fret, tho!  You’ll get lots of support from interactive industry vets and a home-grown proven production process.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years developing Flash site, components, and/or games
  • 2+ years Flash ActionScript experience
  • Object Oriented Programming methods
  • Some JavaScript experience

Personality pluses:

  • Self starter—you see a need and you gotta do it!
  • Creative problem solver—capable of innovative solutions for problems
  • Team player—able to work closely with designers, project managers, and even clients
  • Communicative—open communication is key!
  • Self manager—you have full vision over your time and tasks
  • Quality monger—your code meets spec and despises bugs
  • Conqueror of technology—Flash can’t do what?  prove ‘em all wrong

Bonus skillz:

  • Programming in other languages:  C#, C++, Java
  • Experience with Server Scripting languages
  • Design and/or animation experience
  • Motion Graphics Experience
  • Website Development
  • Multi-user application or game experience

Plexipixel is a small interactive design, animation and game studio with big clients.  We have fun and work hard.  Yeah, we’ve won awards for our work.  That’s because our teams work collaboratively to consistently meet and beat our clients’ expectations. 

Our studio is an avid supporter and participant in the Seattle art and music scenes. We like to play video games, play music and watch animation during our free time. Our office is located in Lower Queen Anne within walking distance to the Seattle Center, Easy Street, Tower Records and lots of restaurants and theatres.
