PlexiPixel Bee

Photosynth’s site went live today at 10am to much anticipation.  This technology is super duper cool and the site is not too shabby either–Jesse, Matt, and Kristi kicked some serious butt on this project.  :)

All us visual folks at Plexipixel are excited about the possibilities Photosynth’s techonology opens up.  You just gotta watch the video to see what we mean.

Have you seen this awesome article about designer toys in Seattle? It has a big up to Shawn Wolfe in it, too.  Yay to Jim Woodring and Ms. Kristin “Schmancy” Rask for all the local call outs!  It’s so nice to see super awesome folks in Seatown supporting each other.  I feel so warm and fuzzy inside.

P.S. We can’t wait to meet Mr. Bumper!

In Japan the slang for “comb-over” is “baakodo” (aka “barcode”). Watch this video from Design Barcode, Inc. for super cute animation, innovative business idea, and biting play on a certain hairstyle for men.

Raping?  Ouch!

Today I watched a repeat of the 2006 Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest.

Joey Chestnut is an “American Hero” and a “great athlete” according to the ESPN commentary. George Shea, chair of the International Federation of Competitive Eating was quoted as saying “The Fourth of July has been stolen from Americans because of Kobayashi’s dominance and now America has someone they can get excited about.” Let’s hear it for America!!! Woot!!!

Too bad the “Americans” got spanked again by a record-breaking-54-hot-dog-eating Kobayashi representing ALL of Japan, yo!

Now who wants to give props to Japan by going to see Fast and Furious 3: Tokyo Drift with me?
